AQUACLEAR HANG-ON BACK FILTER (HOB)


These highly reliable filters are for use in aquariums up to 100 gallons, although we recommend it for tanks up to 30 gallons in volume. Designed to fully exploit the benefits of removing aquarium waste both mechanically and biologically. The waterfall style output of the filter agitates the water surface while creating beneficial currents throughout the entire volume of the aquarium. Filtering basket allows you to add both the manufacturer's filtration cartridges and your own filtering materials. Includes a patented system for easy flow adjustment. Dust cover reduces evaporation. Filters approximately 300 U.S. gallons per hour. Includes (1) foam, (1) carbon filter insert, and (1) biological filter insert. Each filter measures approximately 6" deep (which extends 4" behind the tank) x 8-1/2" W x 8" H. Tube extends approximately 12" down into the tank. For freshwater or marine use. Two year limited manufacture's warranty. UL approved. 120V-60Hz operation only. (Will not work in most areas outside of the United States.) 6 Watt power consumption.

Fluval Canister Filters

The Hagen Fluval canister filters are one of the best, most reliable, multi-stage canister filters available! They are appropriate for all freshwater tanks and saltwater fish only tanks up to 100 gallons. You may use more than 1 filter in an aquarium, (i.e. a 200 gallon tank will require 2x Fluval model 405's)

The multiple internal filtration modules allow the use of a variety of different filter media to provide mechanical, biological and mechanical filtration for optimal water quality. The self priming pump, aqua stop and non-kinking hoses make for easy setup and maintenance.
