Description
The Chinese algae eater Gyrinocheilus Aymonieri originated in Northern India and most commonly grows to 4 inches. This Chinese algae eater will eat an abundance of algae found on glass, wood, plants and rocks. Cleaning glass is a main reason why many fish owners purchase this fish. This fish species is known to be aggressive towards other fish like the Discus and Angel. To ensure good co-habitation, it’s best to pair the Gyrinocheilus Aymonieri with Chiclids of similar size, Rainbowfish, Barbs, Danios, Gouramis, large Livebearers, Plecos and various scavenger Catfish.
