Female Odessa Barbs are silver and pink and they have a spot above the pectoral fin, while the male is a sleek black to silver color and has a radiant red stripe from the head to the tail, making it easy to spot.
Odessa Barbs are renowned for their beauty and for being active swimmers. Keep in mind, they, like many fish, do better in schools. Also, they like their tanks to be stocked with plants, and they like to swim in at least 20 gallons of soft, slightly acidic water.
