The Black Phantom Tetra is a peaceful, eye-catching freshwater fish native to the Amazon Basin and Paraguay River drainage. Known for its distinct smoky-gray color, dramatic fins, and hardy nature, it is a staple species for community aquariums.

These are Omnivorous. Daily Diet: High-quality flake foods or micro-pellets.Varied Treats: Thrives on live or frozen brine shrimp, daphnia, and bloodworms.

Must be kept in groups of 6 or more to reduce stress.
Temperament: Exceptionally peaceful community fish.
Fin-Flaring: Males engage in harmless visual stand-offs by flaring their large fins.

Good Tankmates: Pairs perfectly with other small tetras, rasboras, corydoras, and peaceful dwarf cichlids.

Grows up to a maximum of 1.8 inches (4.5 cm). Males: Feature an expansive, jet-black dorsal fin and lack red coloration. Females: Display noticeable red or orange coloration on their pelvic, anal, and adipose fins.
