Description
The Narrow Arrowhead(Sagittaria filiformis) is a primarily submerged aquatic plant species that is native to the eastern seaboard of the United States and is found ranging from Maine south to Florida. This plant features floating leaves and can vary greatly in size.
The distinct 3 pedal white flower produced by the plant are accompanied by leaves average around 30 cm in length. The long narrow pointed leaf gives the Narrow Arrowhead Sagittaria its name. This plant thrives in bog and pond conditions and is usually found naturally in shallow and swift stream water.
