The Tanganyikan Cichlid (Cyphotilapia frontosa mpimbwe blue) is a decoratively patterned blue, black & white striped freshwater breed that gets along surprisingly well with other fish, known for its passive nature. Originating in Lake Tanganyika of East Africa, this species prefers pH levels that are somewhere between 7.8 & 8.5, & relatively warm water between 72 & 82 degrees F.
