Tea Cup Taro is a large plant with glossy green leaves and purple stems. The leaves are shaped like cups, and can hold several ounces of water. When the leaves are full, they tilt over and spill out excess water. This plant is hardy in zones 7-10. It does best in part sun to part shade. It can survive in high light conditions and on the borders of shade garden.
