Description
Freshwater Tropical Iridescent Shark
Pangasius hypophthalmus, Siamese Shark, Sutchi Catfish
The Iridescent Shark is a shy and nervous species with origins in Thailand. Because it is a skittish fish, it would do best living in a calm environment, such as a home or office with minimal activity. Having a group of tank mates, as well as a well-planted aquarium, will help put these fish at ease. You will also want to consider getting a tank with a lid, as they have been known to jump out of aquariums. The Iridescent Shark is named for the glow or” iridescence” exhibited in younger juveniles, as well as the shark-like appearance.
