With only moderate care, the Anacharis elodea (Egeria densa) Bunched Aquarium Plant will be fast growing. Not only will it add to the ambience of any body of water aquarium or pond, it will also help clean the water by adsorbing excess nutrient, produce oxygen and promote clarity. Its dark to bright green hue and regulating qualities will help turn any aquatic environment jnto a healthy paradise.

Anacharis can be used as a beneficial pond plant in small ponds, large lakes, zoological exhibits, livestock water troughs, water fountains, and more applications.  This plant doesnt ever grow anchor roots, think of it more like a seaweek that just grows and grows.  We ship our buches with a lead weight wrapped around 4-5 stems per bunch.

Pond owners, just toss these plants in your pond as they will sink immediately. If you prefer to have them float instead, simply remove the lead weight as this plant will grow as long as it is emerged in water.  To calculate how many bunches of Anacharis you need for your application, install no less than 1 bunch per sq foot of surface area to get the most benefit from this plant.
