This stemless and full aquatic plant is a native of moisture rich areas of North America. Best suited at pond edges and bog conditions, the Giant Arrowhead Sagittaria strives in wetland conditions.
In nature is plant is often found at pond edges and often exists in areas with temporary moisture. From the months of June to September the Giant Arrowhead blooms producing a three pedal flower with a distinct wine colored strain.
