These are a very easy to keep catfish. They are hard to kill very hardy species. These catfish will be happiest living in an environment with a number of the same species as they are schooling fish. Floating plants and medium vegetation will give these fish lots of room to swim. They also prefer a dark gravel, as well as a strong filter that creates a current.
