This is an excellent algae eating shrimp even at their max size of 1/2 inch long. They are also good breeders and ideal for beginners and virtaully all water types, hard water best, PH range: 6.2 – 8.0 and temps: 65 – 85

This color variation was originally bred in Germany and started to appear in The United States in the late 1990’s.
