Freshwater Gobies have quite a bit of personality and unusual movement, so they are a great addition to the aquarium. They are bottom dwellers and can be territorial, but easy to keep and feed especially if housed in large colonies.
The red lipstock goby is named for the ruby colored mouth on this nano goby species. The lipstick goby is wild caught in small ponds and streams of Indonesia and not often seen in the aquarium trade. These gobies are excellent for nano tanks and planted aquariums, they do not harm fancy shrimp or other invertebrates.
