The Yellow Iris, also known as the Yellow Flag Iris, is a true aquatic plant that is native to England. It is the only yellow-flowered iris and reaches 28 to 38″ in pots and up to 48″ in the wild. It may be grown in up to 12″ of water.The Yellow Iris has bold, deep green to gray-green vertical foliage and 4 to 12 brilliant yellow flowers per stem. The number of blooms is directly related to the amount of dampness the iris is grown in and how close each plant is to the next.
