Merremia Dissecta is a twining climber vine native to Florida and is part of the Morning Glory family. It has intricately divided dark green foliage and produces a large white flower with a dark burgundy center. The Alamo vine’s brown seed capsules resemble small helocopter shaped flowers.
We have planted this vine around our farm around some biord aviaries and fence lines. This plant grows aggressively to give fast cover to fences, chicken wire. Yes, plant this outside of your chicken coop and allow it to grow! You will not be disappointed!
