Nymphaea ‘Pixie Dust’
The Pixie Dust tropical day blooming lily (Nymphaea ‘Pixie Dust’) is a white water lily with purple flecks. It won the International Waterlily and Water Gardening Society’s 2020 Best New Tropical Day Blooming Waterlily award.
Features
Tropical day-blooming water lilies are annuals that bloom during the summer
They come in many colors, including white, pink, orange, yellow, purple, and blue
Their flowers can be up to 12 inches wide and are usually fragrant
Their leaves are round and can be up to 15 inches wide
Planting
Plant in fertile loamy soil in a container and then sink it into the water garden or pond
Plant after the water warms up in late spring or early summer
Provide at least 5 hours of sun daily
Fertilize with an appropriate fertilizer for water lilies.
