Xiphophorus maculatus
The Platy is also known as the Moonfish or the Southern Platyfish. There are many different color combinations of this fish. The most common colors are red, yellow, orange, blue, and wag varieties with black tails. Platies are freshwater omnivores that eat flaked foods and algae.
Occasionally we trade bloodlines from other breeders to keep stock healthy and keep the gene pool broad. We’ve been in this business since 1987 and having integrity of how we farm animals is important to us.
