Irian Red rainbowfish (Red rainbowfish) is a vibrant, freshwater schooling fish native to Lake Sentani in Papua, Indonesia.
Males: Develop a brilliant, deep red color and grow a high back as they age.
Females: Display a more subdued olive-brown or silver tone.Length: Adults reach about 4 to 6 inches (10 to 15 cm) long, with males growing larger than females.
Temperature: 75–82°F (24–28°C)
pH Level: 6.5 to 8.2
Water Hardness: Moderately hard, 9 to 19 dH
They are hardy fish but need clean water and regular partial water changes to stay healthy and bright.
