Cichlasoma urophthalmus
The Red Terror Mayan Cichlid is of Mexican origins, and is known by the scientific name Amphilophus urophthalmus. These fish have a unique look, which features red and gold coloring, as well as eight black bands that run up and down the length of its body. You can keep their colors vibrant by feeding them live foods that are high in vitamin A. When they are shipped, these fish are usually about 1.5” long.
