The Panda Tetra (Aphyocharax nattereri), also known as the Dawn tetra or white spot tetra, is a small, active freshwater fish native to South America’s Rio Paraguay basin. Generally a peaceful fish. These are a Schooling fish, so keep in groups of at least 6 to 8 fish. Tetras prefer a heavily planted tank with dark substrates, floating plants to diffuse light, and open swimming areas.
