Rotala macrandra ‘Florida’, Rotala macrandra var. ‘Narrow Leaf’, Rotala Magenta
The mutation is not entirely stable as the stems of this plant will occasionally produce broader leaf shoots. This cultivar is one of the most commonly found Rotala sp. in the trade and one of the most simple to grow. Requires medium to intense light. High phosphate levels will create a more compact, more red growth as with most red Rotala sp. Iron deficiencies will turn this plant pale.
