Aulonocara sp. ‘OB Peacock’
The Orange Blossom Peacock East African Cichlid, also known as orange block or blotch peacock, comes all the way from Lake Malawi, Africa! This is a mild-mannered medium sized cichlid that reaches up to 6”.
To maintain a healthy environment for your fish be sure to keep water temperature 72-82 degrees Fahrenheit. These cichlids specifically do very well in large groups. The male species tend to be more colorful, especially when breeding. Make sure to always keep several females to each male.
This will take the stress off of just one female carrying eggs.
