Crassula Ovata, Jade Plant, Lucky Plant, Money Plant or Money Tree
Crassula ovata is native to South Africa. The Jade plant is a popular house plant, although we keep ours in the shade outdoors in AZ.
Our Jade plants are currently sold as cuttings, we will have rooted plants available later. These are easy to grow from cuttings and in the wild, the leaves that break off and land on the ground will root themselves in a few weeks.
After taking a cutting from your jade plant, allow the ends of the cuttings to cure (dry out and callus over) for a few days before planting.
This will help prevent rotting of the jade plant cutting. The larger the cutting is, the longer you should let it cure.
Please note that photos are for illustrative purposes only. You may not receive the exact same plant as photographed when you order unless specified.
