Cactus Apple, Cow’s Tongue Prickly Pear, Opuntia engelmannii var. linguiformis or Lawyer’s Tongue Cactus
You will receive 3 fresh cuttings about the same size as the images, however throughout the year the cuttings may be larger with growth. The cuttings will have been dipped in rooting hormone.
Opuntia engelmannii var. linguiformis is native to the Southwestern United States. It can grow to with up to 5 feet tall and 10 feet wide from 1 plant with up to 2 foot long pads. It is hardy to 20 degrees F and can withstand the full Arizona desert sun. The Cactus Apple produces bright yellow flowers in the spring.
