Malaysian Rainbow Shrimp are very popular with aquarists as these are inexpensive shrimp, entertaining, beautiful and YES they eat algae! We have had some awesome colors appear on our Rainbow’s (hence the name Rainbow Shrimp). Colors can range from deep yellows, blues, rust reds to dark browns, it’s a crapshoot on what you’ll get, and as they continue to reproduce the colors get more interesting. They are about the same size as a Red Cherry Shrimp or a touch smaller. This is a great beginner shrimp and also ideal for small nano tanks.
Stocking Ratio: 8-10 Rainbow Shrimp per gallon.
