Description
Native to Asia, the Striped Aquarium Plant, also known as Acorus Gramineus Variegatus, is an aquarium plant that takes time and care for it to grow to its full potential, having a growth rate that is slow. This strong plant is more of a decorative aquarium plant and although commonly used as an aquarium plant, it will only last several months if submerged in an aquarium. After this period, the Striped Aquarium Plant must be grown emerged to rejuvenate and make great candidates for use in Cichlid tanks. Requirements for this plant include medium to high light and placement in the aquarium tank’s midground.
