Java Fern on Lava Rock

Description

Java Fern grown on lava rock

Microsorium pteropus
aka: Thor’s Hammer, Thors Hammer

This Java Fern on Lava Rock does look pretty amazing in an aquarium! The bright and vibrant green leaves will sway in the water as your fish swim around them in glee.  This plant not only gives your aquatic friends habitat to seek refuge, but also adds depth to any aquatic setup.  You can see that the hardened lava rock that this plant has been grown on has a very crisp tint of red that contrasts well with the green of the leaves.  The green and red colors unite to one beautiful aquarium piece. Simply drop in your tank, no planting necessary. We’ve already done all the work, just toss it in! Instant gratification at it’s finest! Enjoy
