Plenty of hiding places should be provided for this fish so that it can feel comfortable and reduce stress. It prefers to be more active at night when it feels more secure. These are extremely active plecos that will prefer to live in groups or colonies of other Goldies as well as Phantoms and Leopard Cactus (Red Tail Sternella) are good eaters, and are not finicky about what they eat. While it will scavenge for some food, it must also be fed a good quality algae disc or wafer, as well az Freeze Dried foods such as Bloodworms in order to maintain good health and ingest protein.
