Strawberry Rasbora
Boraras naevus, commonly known as the strawberry rasbora, is a tiny, vividly colored freshwater fish native to Thailand. The name naevus comes from Latin, meaning “spot” or “blemish on the skin,” which points directly to that distinct dark shoulder marking.
The strawberry rasbora (Boraras naevus) is one of the smallest fish in the world, growing to a maximum size of just 1.2 to 2 centimeters (less than an inch).
Males grow to about 1.5 cm (0.5 inches), while females reach up to 2 cm (0.7 inches).Boraras naevus can be found mainly in the swamps and rice paddies of Thailand
Lifespan: Up to 8 years under proper care.
Temperament: Very peaceful, ideal for nano aquariums.
Schooling: Highly social; keep them in groups of 8 to 15 or more.
