Gymnocoronis spilanthoides, Senegal Teaplant
The Water Snowball or Gymnocoronis Bunched Aquatic Plant, also known as Gymnocoronis spilanthoides, is originally native to South America. This plant is great for your pond’s shoreline, and helps with controlling erosion. As a very fast growing plant, the width of the stem will grow up to 6”. These oxygenating pond plants are one of the most important components to your pond, as they help clean water, remove algae, produce oxygen and promote clarity. For best results, use 1 bunch per square foot of pond surface. This plant provides a naturally beautiful background to ponds or aquariums.
