The algae eating Broken Line Royal Pleco is a very interesting fish consuming some Green Hair or Filamentous algae from plants, glass and rocks. This fish species originated in Venezuela, South America.
It can grow to 15 inches, but this will take many years. In a typical aquarium tank, these fish will grow to 4 or 5 inches. In order to maintain quality health, it is ideal to supplement the diet with New Life Spectrum’s wafers and frozen or fresh spinach leaf, all of which will keep them strong. This is for our regular size Broken line pleco. About 10-15 months old, appx about 2 to 4″ in size at time of shipping.
