Description
A freshwater fish found in Borneo and Sumatra, the Clown Barbs are sleek red-gold sheen, with red fins and bands, giving it a clown like appearance. These fish typically live between 5-8 years if properly cared for.
The Clown Barbs are an omnivorous fish that will munch on flakes and once in a while brine shrimp or bloodworms.
Before breeding them, you should let them get used to the foods they eat, and you should remove the adults when the eggs are present. The fry hatches in about 3 to four weeks, and you can feed them Infusoria or crushed flakes.
