Malaysian Rainbow Shrimp are very popular with aquarists as these are inexpensive shrimp, entertaining, beautiful and YES they eat algae! We have had some awesome colors appear on our Rainbow (hence the name Rainbow Shrimp). Colors can range from tan, deep yellows, blues, rust reds to dark browns, it’s a crapshoot on what you’ll get, and as they continue to reproduce the colors get more interesting. This is a great beginner shrimp and also ideal for small nano tanks.
