The Jade Green Shrimp is native to the Indo-Pacific region including the Philippines, New Guinea, & Indonesia. The jade green shrimp has only been in commercial pet trade in the US since 2007. Jade Green Shrimp are very popular for aquarists with Nano Tanks and Larger tanks alike! Jade Green Shrimp do much better in well established, well oxygenated tanks! Easy to raise, breed and enjoy in most any aquarium. Be sure to provide them with lots of plants such as the Java Ferns you see in the photos.
