Rotala H’ra
Rotala H’ra can be grown submerged underwater or emerged above water and will produce more round leaves when grown in its emersed form. Submerged, Rotala species will sprout longer and more narrow leaves. This plant is perfect for planting in the background and will compliment and contrast to your green plants. Plant densely in your aquascape for best results. An overabundance of macro nutrients restricts the availability of trace elements which may cause the crippling of the shoots, so do not overdo it on the fertilizers or trace elements. Once Rotala begins to take off in your aquarium, leave it alone and let it flourish.
