This is another outstanding type of Royal Tetra. Very Rare! A species of characin endemic to Brazil where it is found in the Aripuanã River. It is not common to find these in the aquarium industry and is the sole member of its genus. Does best in large schools and in heavily planted tanks with tall grasses such as Vals or Sag. Anyone stumbling on this and knows how rare these fish are, will be delighted to order in numbers for your exhibit display! This is a treasure of a find and very valuable Tetra.
