Description
The Threadfin Rainbowfish, also known as the Featherfin Rainbowfish grows to a size of 2 inches long on average. They get the name Featherfin from the males, who have wispy fins.
This species is highly adaptable and would easily have a smooth transition into a new home or tank. These Rainbowfish enjoy plants, so make sure there is plenty in their tank.
They are sensitive, however, to water condition changes. Make sure their water amounts and pH levels remain constant.
Stock about 1 per gallon, and keep with only non-aggresive dwarf species.
