The Pink Kissing Gourami Fish, also known as the Helostoma temmincki, is true to it’s name thanks to its thick lips that extend to resemble pursed lips. The pale pink fish is generally peaceful, and have a lifespan of about 6 – 8 years. They will eat a wide variety of food, including small live foods, Tubifex worms, earthworms, & brine shrimp. They also will accept flake, frozen and freeze-dried foods.
These fish will be happiest in densely planted aquariums, using Java fern, Java moss, floating plants, driftwood, and rockwood throughout.
