The Zig Zag Eel is a nocturnal predator. They are not true eels as they are an elongated tropical freshwater fish that has numerous spines preceding the dorsal fin. The Zig Zag Eel will prefer about 1 teaspoon of salt for every 1 gallon of freshwater. This fish should be kept with other large fish that the eel will not consider as dinner. This Eel should be fed freeze-dried bloodworms, shrimp, and pellet foods. Shipped about 3 – 5″
