If using these carp in a pond or lake, these algae eating fish will be active in both streams as well as deep bodies of water.
Jerdon’s Carp are omnivorous and feeds on aquatic and terrestrial weeds, detritus & and small organisms within the water column, such as mosquito larvae and more.
Jerdon’s Carp are lsited as Endangered in some parts of its natural habitat, so imports are very uncommon and availability in the pet stores is non existent.
