Description
The Dwarf Upside Down Catfish, otherwise known as Synodontis nigriventris, is a peaceful fish native to Zaire and the Niger River basin. While their tank water should be on the soft side, the overall temperature isn’t critical. However, they do enjoy a well-planted tank with driftwood as well as rocks for hiding. Not picky eaters, they will be adept to pretty much any diet presented. Their coloring consists of a light brown body with dark brown irregular blotches throughout. These fish are known for their enjoyment of swimming upside down, and grazing the bottom of the tank for food.
