Nymphaea ‘William Mclane’
The Purple William Mclane Day Blooming Lily is one of the most distinct flowers we sell, thanks to its immense large blue flower and its egg shaped pads. The large flower will have up to 48 petals when it reaches maturity, and the deep blue color can eventually become deep purple when held under cooler temperatures.
This selection’s pads are heavily mottled, as they have large maroon specks on a green background. It is a dynamic plant and you will find it’s one of the first to grow come springtime.
