The Splendid Rainbow is also known as the Eastern Rainbow or Australian Rainbowfish. Rainbowfish are known for having large eyes, bands of color running through the middle of their bodies, and two dorsal fins. This is a species that needs room to swim around in a tank, so you don’t want to make it too densely populated with plants. The throats of this fish tend to be narrow. This being said, they should be offered foods that are small in size.
