The Angelicus Botia Loach has four pairs of barbels protruding from the mouth. The main color of the body of this Botia is dark chocolate brown and the entire body and fins of this Loach is barred and spotted with light tan markings which gives this loach a very unusual but beautiful pattern. The Angelicus Botia Loach is a peaceful fish that will do best in the company of its own species as well as other peaceful bottom dwelling fish, and will school with other loaches. The Angelicus Botia Loach loves rocks, caves, holes and other places to hide, especially when it sleeps.
In it’s native waters, it originates from streams, it requires a current of water in the aquarium for best results. Angelicus Botia Loach loves to forage for food, waste, algae and other micro organisms constantly but will appreciate feedings of freeze-dried bloodworms, shrimp, flakes & pellet foods.
